Are the coaches vaccinated?
Yes, all our coaches are fully vaccinated. We still enforce social distancing as appropriate
Can players wear masks?
Absolutely, please make a decision based on your comfort level for you and your family.
Is playing tennis safe?
Tennis is one of the safest sports to play during this time of COVID, with minimal contact, outdoor spaces, and easy social distancing but our priority is to keep everyone safe and happy while following the rules.
What are our COVID 19 safety protocols?
- The tables and chairs by the courts are reserved for the players and coaches only. Parents must bring their own chairs if you wish to stay and spectate.
No eating inside the fenced court area next to the courts.
We emphasise staying safely socially distanced when waiting to get on the court.
Junior players must have their names on their water bottles.
Junior and adult players must place their bags in the designated areas and not on the chairs.
Hand sanitizer will be provided at the courts and will be used after collecting the balls.
A mask is not compulsory but players are free to wear them whenever they wish.
Summer & Holiday Camps
What does my child need to bring to Summer Camp?
Please send your child in suitable athletic wear with laced up tennis shoes
Hat, towel, sunglasses & sunscreen
Packed lunch and snacks in named lunch boxes/bags
Plenty of water in named bottles
What is the Summer Camp weather and cancellation policies?
Weather cancellation for Summer Camps
One day cancellation – no refund as camps are priced at five days for the price of four with Friday as a make-up for rain/bonus day if it does not rain!
Over and above one day, we will offer alternative days.
Cancellation Policy for Registrants of 8-week classes and Summer Camps
A full refund will be offered up to 5 days prior to the first class or first day of camp. Fewer than five days a 50% refund. A full refund, minus processing fee, will be issued if another player takes the canceled spot and starts from week one of the session.
Junior 8 Week Classes
What racquet size is right for my child?
In the event of adverse weather, we will email and cancel a class and post a message on our Facebook page. Depending on the weather issue (rain, high winds, too cold) we will give as much advance notice as possible, however, unexpected changes in the weather mean last-minute cancellations do happen! If it has rained earlier in the day, we are usually able to dry the courts so unless players receive an email, CLASS IS ON!
Friday is our makeup class day. We will email the date and time and will require a reply with the player’s name and whether they can attend. We will assume the player is not attending if we do not receive a reply and they will be considered absent from the makeup class.
The Friday weather makeup class may not take place the same week as the canceled scheduled class due to scheduling issues. The Friday weather makeup class will be offered as soon as possible and will take place during the session the player is enrolled on.
If you cannot attend a weather makeup class, then a request, in writing, must be made at least one day in advance of the makeup class date for another makeup class opportunity. We can only offer ONE makeup class for a missed weather makeup class per session, and this is subject to availability.

What should my child bring to class?
No need to bring tennis balls! Here is a handy list:
Players must wear suitable athletic clothes with laced up footwear.
Hat, towel, sunglasses & sunscreen in the summer and warm layers in colder weather.
Plenty of water – for juniors ensure your child’s name is clearly written on the water bottle.
What is the coach to student ratio?
We have one coach for every four to six students. For makeup classes we sometimes have a 1:8 ratio, but wll not exceed that.
Do you prorate the session?
Yes, our sessions are automatically prorated on our website. If an eight-week session has started and there is still availability, then please go ahead and book online and you will only pay for the remaining weeks of the session
What is the policy if my child misses a class?
When booking one of our 8-week scheduled classes, you are signing up for your child to attend the same class each week. All our classes are full, so makeup spots are very limited. We do not have the capacity for players to miss a class and simply turn up to another class.
We cannot offer refunds or guarantee a makeup class if a player misses one of their scheduled classes but we may be able to offer the opportunity to attend other classes if we have availability. This is very limited due to our small class sizes.
We will only consider a request for a maximum of ONE makeup class per session and the player must email firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 days in advance of the player’s scheduled class and provide the following details:
Name of player, class enrolled on & date player will be absent.
When available, a makeup class will be offered for the same level class and must be taken during the session the player is enrolled on. If the player cannot make the date offered, we will be unable to offer more dates. We cannot accept retrospective requests.
There is considerable administration time dealing with requests and there is no guarantee a makeup spot will be available, but we will try our best.
What is the policy if I miss a class?
We cannot offer reimbursements if a player misses a class, but we may be able to offer the opportunity to attend makeup classes or spots on other classes if we have availability.
Please let us know if you are unable to make a class so we can arrange our schedules accordingly.
Can I try out a class before committing to an 8-week course?
If we have availability we are happy for you to come along and try out a class before committing to the 8-week course. You can simply pay for the one class and if you are happy to commit we will invoice you for the balance.
Do you have adult-drop in clinics?
Yes, from April to November we have a number of adult drop-in clinics scheduled throughout the weekday mornings and one on Sunday. Book online here. Click on the Adult drop-in tab to see the schedule.
Do you offer small adult group sessions?
We offer classes for up to four players on weekday mornings. Please contact us directly to arrange a date and time.
Do you have flights?
Yes! Once a week a group of players meet up, usually a Thursday or Friday morning and play each other. Our flight schedule runs throughout the year. There is a one of fee of $30 for the session, usulally 8-10 weeks, which covers the cost of the balls.
